With the advent of Mind Body Medicine current research shows that energetic blockage is the genesis for all physical problems and disease. These energetic blockages manifest as conditions of imbalance, including: back, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, arthritis, Fibromyalgia, allergies, depression, anxiety and panic disorders to name just a few of the common, modern day maladies.

KG has worked for more than 30 years as a therapist, consultant, teacher, and mentor to celebrities, CEOs, multi-millionaires, and other extraordinary people, like you, who want to improve the quality of their lives, and feel better now! She has helped thousands of people to heal from a wide variety of health conditions, and return to a natural state of well-being and ease in body, mind, and soul.

An Integrative Health Care Specialist KG is a Licensed and Accredited Mind Body Therapist, Clinical Aromatherapist and Holistic Health Educator with state massage licensure in both Oregon #2313 and Hawaii #6351. KG is the owner of Springhill Wellness Center in Ashland, Oregon, and the Director of Health Mastery Systems®, and PurePlant Essentials™ organic aromatherapy. KG specializes in formulating custom aromatherapy blends for healthy living. Her essential oil formulations include blends for colds and flu, insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, menopause, anti-aging, skin care, the chakras and more.

As a consultant KG has helped develop programs of aromatherapy, energy healing, massage and bodywork for individual clients, the spa industry, resorts, schools and health clubs, health clinics and hospitals. KG is a member of the Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) Team at Ashland Community Hospital (ACH) which became affiliated with Planetree in 2006. The CAM team is helping ACH transition to an integrated health care system that provides patient-centered programs and care with the best of scientific medicine and complementary healing traditions such as aromatherapy and caring touch.

KG assisted with aromatherapy certification trainings at Ashland Community Hospital (ACH) which were videoed for educational purposes. The hospital is now incorporating aromatherapy in all of its departments, including hospice care. KG's company PurePlant Essentials organic aromatherapy is one of ACH suppliers for essential oils. KG received two awards in recognition of her service and contribution to the integration of complementary medicine at Ashland Community Hospital.

OTHER TRAINING & SKILLS

A native of coastal North Carolina, USA KG was first introduced to archetypal psychology while completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy & Religion at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and traveled to the Jung Institute, in Zurich, Switzerland, as a student in 1976. After working as a social worker for a short time KG was introduced to the “transformational” healing arts while visiting the Findhorn Community in Northern Scotland.

In 1979 KG relocated to San Diego, California where she continued her training and practice in Mind Body Therapies. KG completed diploma coursework at Mueller College of Holistic Studies, and an internship in Ida Rolf’s 10-sessions of structural integration at the Institute for Psycho-structural Balancing, and was influenced by some of the world’s foremost pioneers in the Consciousness and Energy Healing Movement, people like Anthony Robbins (NLP), Milton Trager and Marianne Williamson.

KG is a certified Reiki Practitioner (2nd degree), and has received advanced training and certification in Aromatherapy, Bowen therapy, and the BodyTalk System. KG also received training at Emerson College in Forest Row England, a school for Dr. Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophical initiatives, including for Medicine and Biodynamic Organic Farming.

KG’s client success stories are widely publicized and she has published more than 4,000 articles about aromatherapy, complementary health care, and personal development. KG's articles appear in national and industry trade magazines like Massage Therapy Journal, Massage Today, Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine, Aromatherapy Today (Australia) and NAHA Aromatherapy Journal.
