The best time to do your Cancer New Moon Ritual for setting your intentions is at the time of the new moon until it goes void of course on July 16th at 4:24 am Pacific. And then again when the moon enters Leo at 7:15am on the same day until the moon goes void of course again on the 18th at 2:41pm Pacific.
You can set your new moon intentions until the waxing quarter moon on the 22nd, just make sure the moon isn’t void of course.

At Cancer New Moon Mercury in Cancer conjunct Mars exact on Cancer new moon. Thoughts and behavior centered on issues related to home, family, early childhood roots.
Cancer New Moon trine to Chiron retrograde in Pisces and Saturn in Scorpio.
The Cancer New Moon coupled with the Sun and conjunct to the star Sirius the Dog Star (the Sun of our Sun) oppose Pluto in Capricorn conjunct the fixed star vega and square to Uranus in Aries which is slowing down to station retrograde on July 26th. Square shows conflict that needs resolution. Matures and strengthens you. Need to access Can Do energy within yourself. Tendency may be to dig in and resist.
Venus is about to station retrograde on July 25th. Her station will be conjunct the wealth star Regulus (the lion’s heart). The themes that surface now will be playing themselves out over the coming weeks through this fall as you integrate and make necessary internal shifts.
Venus conjunct Regulus square to Saturn as she stations retrograde exact on July 13th. Squares represent internal conflict indicate how you need to change. Squares mature and strengthen you. Saturn is the mature diplomat, exalted in Libra ruled by Venus. Put your heart into doing the necessary restructuring and re-valuation about how you’re loving yourself, if you’re worthy of being loved deeply and completely?
Healing childhood wounds. Time to love yourself. Work with inner child, nurture self. Photo you love of yourself as a young child (between age 3 and 8). Let your child know how precious they are and how much you love and adore them and will always take care of them. Help your inner feel completely loved and safe with you.
