A gentle wood oil that's lightly sweet, spicy and round Sandalwood Essential Oil has a deep  resonant nature renowned for its regulating and grounding properties. Sandalwood enhances any blend because of its fortifying and lasting qualities. Due to its strengthening and fortifying properties, as well as its cooling and regulating effect Sandalwood oil makes an excellent tonic for the body and mind.

Sandalwood essential oil, properly stored, will only improve with age and is considered an inheritance quality oil. Buy what you need for today, but you can also invest for the coming decades. 

In the Summer 2006 the price of true Indian Sandalwood essential oil escalated almost weekly. Scarcity of the raw material, and Indian government restrictions on exportation make sourcing true Sandalwood Oil more and more difficult. Many vendors are no longer offering it.

PLEASE NOTE: True East Indian Sandalwood continues to rise in price. It has been restricted for exportation since 2006 and and it is now considered an endangered species which makes its value beyond price. I purchased a large quantity of this rare vintage, highly prized oil in 2005, and am currently making a small quantity of my retail stock available for purchase through PurePlant Essentials online store. 

Traders of East Sandalwood think we may no longer be able to procure this oil in the near future, and because of its endangered status East Indian Sandalwood is no longer considered fair trade in the essential oils market. Thus after our current available stock is sold we will no longer offer East Indian Mysore Sandalwood for sale.
