KG talks with Kelly about the safe use of essential oils with animals and how similar health issues with people also apply with animals and how essential oils can be useful.

Kelly is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Registered Aromatherapist, and a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner and Certified Bach Flower Practitioner. Kelly has been blending essential oils with advanced massage therapies since 1988. Kelly specializes in Clinical Aromatherapy, Asian Healing Arts, Reflexology, Reiki, Qigong and Acupressure for people and their animal friends.

Kelly is the Vice President of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy, and the NAHA Director of North Carolina. Her passion for aromatherapy has lead to the creation of Ashi Aromatics Inc. Kelly’s line of aromatherapy products. Kelly and her husband Marco, an acupuncturist, own and operate Sacred Mountain Healing Retreat, a holistic healing center in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina (my birth home state). Celebrate the Solstice on December 21st when the Sun enters Capricorn. In the Northern Hemisphere it’s the Winter Solstice when the days are at their shortest and darkest. In ancient times the Winter Solstice was celebrated as a way to call for the return of light. This is when our deepest fears may surface and the need for hope is most strong. In contrast it’s the Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere when the days are at their longest, and signals the time when the daylight hours begin to diminish. The Sun in Capricorn is close to its exact conjunction with Pluto which occurs on December 22nd at 1:21am (Pacific), so your desires will be especially strong!

On Saturday, December 27thth in the dark of a New Moon in Capricorn at 6:08° that’s exact at 4:22am (Pacific) plant your seeds of intention. Write out your New Moon list of desires and wishes, light your white candle, then send your intentions, fueled by your desire, out into the universe. Then prepare to take consistent action on any intuitive leads or hunches you may get for the complete fulfillment of your desires. Refrain from predicting or manipulating the way the fulfillment of your dreams will come. Remain true to your vision, and allow the universe to love and support you in unpredictable, mysterious, and amazing ways.
