Best oils to use this week are those that help you stay calm and relaxed. With the excess of fire and air energies activated there can be a tendency to over do a good thing.
I recommend the essential oil:
Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana) –
Aromas: Warm, spicy, herbal and sweet.
- Chemical components are known for their anti-inflammatory actions.
- Promotes deep relaxation.
- May be helpful for relieving panic attacks.
- Restorative properties make it useful for physical and emotional exhaustion.
- Helpful for releasing long held mental and emotional tension.
Astro Energy Report Highlights
All dates are at exact peak of intensity when energies begin to culminate and wane. You may actually feel the energies several hours or even days or weeks (in the case of eclipses) before the Celestial Peak, Crest of the Wave, so to speak. If you have personal planets or points within 1-2º orb of an aspect that’s occurring between planets then you will feel that celestial event more strongly.
There can be extraordinarily positive energies at play, but if they interact with your natal chart in a ‘harsh’ aspect, such as a square, opposition, or quincunx, then the positive forces can be delayed, or even blocked. There’s always synergy working between planets. The balance of elements is always being maintained.
February 2nd – Venus at 29º Sagittarius Trine Uranus in Aries. This is a perfect day for taking an action adventure. You’ll love freedom and the unexpected. Not a day to stick with a set plan, or revisit the same old same old.
February 3rd – Mercury at 18º Aquarius Sextiles Jupiter in Sagittarius. Again, you’re feeling to break free of any drudgery. An opportunity may be offered for expansive communications and connections. Let yourself dream possibilities.
On this same day – Venus moves into the sign of Capricorn for the remainder of the month, until March 1st. Venus love for business takes center stage for the remainder of the month. Your business affairs take on new life as your heart engages with more practical pursuits of success in the marketplace. Capricorn ruled by Saturn is a little stodgy for Venus though the Trine to Taurus brings a natural affinity to the pairing. Also, you have to remember Saturn is exalted in Libra (ruled by Venus). This can be a profitable period, or set you up for greater profit over the next few months.
February 4th – we have the 15º 45’ Aquarius New Moon, exact 1:04pm. The Aquarius New Moon is Conjunct the Sun (of course) and Mercury. The Aquarius New Moon is also Sextile to Jupiter. New visions for the future can be set into motion. Sun Conjunct Mercury is always excellent for making agreements and signing contracts. And, Sextile to Jupiter those new ventures can open up greater rewards and prosperous circumstances.
February 5th – we have the Chinese New Year of the Earth Pig/Boar. It’s the Lunar New Year!! The Moon makes a few auspicious contacts today as it Sextiles Mars, Uranus and Venus during the day. Your emotional body feels energized and awakened to new business and personal opportunities.
February 7th – Sun at 19º Aquarius Sextiles Jupiter in Sagittarius. The Sextile between the Sun and Jupiter perfects today. The fire of Jupiter in Sagittarius inflames your Will forces. You can feel lighter than air today. Levity and taking life lightly is certainly easier to do with the jovial aspects that are playing out this week.
On this same day – Mercury at 26º Aquarius Sextiles Mars in Aries. Opportunity to take action on agreements you’ve made. The fire and air energy this week is light and optimistic.
VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
Void of Course Moon periods are great for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon Phases are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.
For your New and Full Moon Rituals make sure the Moon is not Void of Course and in aspect to another celestial body when doing your ritual for best results.
