The week starts off with the Moon in energetic Aries. Jupiter Rx at 21º Scorpio is Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn bringing opportunity to expand your power base. Taking action on your dreams is favored and encouraged as Mars at 15º Capricorn is Sextile to Neptune in Pisces.
With tomorrow’s new Moon in Aries and Mercury’s Station Direct life is about to get into full forward gear. Delays get released now as the hand brake comes off. Can you feel the flow of communication shift from an internal focus to the outer world at large?
BEST MONEY DAY this week is the 18th*.
Best Money Days are days when the collective celestial events bring greater than usual opportunities. This may not translate into direct and immediate cash in your pocket, but potential for increase in your future prospects. Of course when these days are talking harmoniously with your personal stars the increase multiplies exponentially.

All dates are at exact peak of intensity when energies begin to culminate and wane. You may actually feel the energies several hours or even days or weeks (in the case of eclipses) before the Celestial Peak, Crest of the Wave, so to speak. If you have personal planets or points within 1-2º orb of an aspect that’s occurring between planets then you will feel that celestial event more strongly.
On April 14th – Jupiter Rx at 21º Scorpio is Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. Opportunities to expand your power base may be available. Don’t hesitate, go for it!! When Jupiter Stations Direct on July 10th until he Conjuncts Pluto again on September 12th you’ll begin to see results from the opportunities available now.
Jupiter in Scorpio is within orb of an exact Opposition with Venus in Taurus Trine Pluto in Capricorn which perfects on April 16th and 17th. So these celestial energies are playing out from April 14th – 17th.
On April 14th – Mars at 15º Capricorn Sextiles Neptune. Pure and simple this aspect can bring lucky opportunities for taking action to realize your dreams. Your dreams can get a real boost today!
On April 15th – Mercury Stations Direct at 4º 47’ of Aries, exact at 2:21am PT. What’s been delayed or experienced a slow down in the outer world since March 10th can now move forward. Miscommunications and misunderstandings are hallmarks of Mercury Retrograde when upgrades in how you connect with others (and yourself) are called for.
On April 15th – We have the 26º 2’ Aries New Moon exact at 6:57pm. The Aries New Moon doesn’t go Void of Course until 10:59pm PT, so you can perform your New Moon Ritual at the time of the New Moon until it goes Void of Course. Check the Void of Course Moon calendar below for times.
On April 16th – Venus at 21º Taurus Opposes Jupiter in Scorpio and will perfect her Trine to Pluto tomorrow, the 17th.
Oppositions can represent a power struggle with someone, or a tug of war within yourself. You can feel torn between diametrically opposed points of view or courses of action. Oppositions bring illumination to what has been hidden. Don’t rush into making a decision just because of the pressure. Rather wait, be still and allow yourself to be guided. Be true to yourself and let go of any attachment to outcomes.
Venus Sextile to Pluto intensifies the Power and Pleasure Principles at work now and there’s an urgency to resolve the tension.
On April 17th – Venus at 21º Scorpio perfects her Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. Love of power and pleasurable pursuits.
On April 17th – Saturn Stations Retrograde at 9º Capricorn exact at 6:47pm PT until September 6th. Time to review all the building and restructuring that you’ve accomplished over the past several months. When Saturn Stations Direct September 6th you’ll work hard to implement the new structural changes and foundations to support your success in the world.
On April 18th – The Sun at 29º Aries Conjuncts Uranus. You get a boost for implementing changes now.
On April 19th – The Sun enters Taurus at 8:13pm PT. You’re ready to relax and enjoy a few of life’s pleasures. With Sun in Taurus you can feel lazy though the money and material side of life seems to be well provided for while the Sun transits Taurus until May 20th when the Sun enters Gemini.
VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
Void of Course Moon periods are great for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon Phases are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.
