HOW TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS ~ AROMATHERAPY CLEANING
by KG Stiles, Clinical Aromatherapist
Pure essential oils have a wide range of therapeutic uses and benefits. The method applied can affect the results.
First, please remember that essential oils should never be applied neat (undiluted) to your skin. There are absolutely NO exceptions to this! This includes the soles of your feet or palms of your hands. When using oils neat for inhalation purposes please exercise care and dispense your oils on a tissue or cotton ball for direct inhalation.
GUIDE FOR YOUR GENERAL ALL PURPOSE CLEANING:
Adding essential oils known for their antibacterial and antiviral powers to your dishpan or scrub bucket will kill germs and leave your home and living environments smelling clean and fresh!
SURFACE CLEANER: Disperse 8-10 drops of Lemon essential oil with 1-2 drops of Eucalyptus in dish soap and add to your sink or a bucket of warm water for a powerful surface cleaner. Wipe down your kitchen counters, all bathroom surfaces and your other living environments with these cleansing, germicidal oils.
WASHING DISHES ~ Lemon oil is a great grease cutter; add 1-3 drops to your favorite dish soap and stir into your dish pan of warm water. Lemon oil is great for cleaning pots and pans!
