The week starts off with the Virgo Moon making several harmonious aspects with the Sun conjunct Venus and Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter conjunct Mars in Scorpio. All dates are at exact peak of intensity when energies begin to culminate and wane. If you have personal planets or points within 1-2º orb of an aspect that’s occurring between planets then you will feel that celestial event more strongly.
January 6th – Mercury (the connector) at 25º Sagittarius is Trine to its higher octave counterpart Uranus (the awakener). Something gets the green light for take off now. Mercury will leave its retrograde shadow on the 9th. Ready-set-go with any new ideas and integrating the changes that surfaced during Mercury’s Retrograde cycle.
January 6th – Mars at 18º Scorpio Conjuncts Jupiter. Your optimism and energy level are greatly expanded now! Lots of passion and enthusiasm for taking action and to go for it!
January 8th – Libra Last Quarter Moon at 18º 35’ exact at 2:25pm PT. There are some truly wonderful opportunities available now though because the Moon is Square to Venus, the Sun and Pluto emotionally you may feel challenged to let go of something you’re attached to. Let go! The celestial vibe supports you to make changes you know in your heart you need to make and are ready for.
January 8th – Sun (life force) at 18º Capricorn Conjuncts Venus (personal love interests) and Pluto (power regeneration) today and Sextiles Jupiter (good fortune, expands what it touches) Conjunct Mars (action, energy) in Scorpio. Put all together these energies spell Opportunity and Optimism. There’s transformative energy to make any changes.
This is an especially awesome day and the energies carry on through tomorrow, the 9th, as the celestial events reach their peak and play out fully through the remainder of the week. As the Moon moves into Scorpio, and adds its celestial influence to the mix, you may experience the strength of these positive vibes even more and through most of the week ahead. Enjoy and make the most of this time while it lasts!
January 10th – the good vibes continue as Mercury moves in Capricorn adding its influence to the Capricorn Sextile to Scorpio Celestial energies. Mercury (your conscious mind) is now fully engaged and back online as its left its Retrograde Shadow. With Mercury in Capricorn until February 1st your mind will be focused on your career and reaping rewards. It’s a great time for increasing your earnings. Money and power will be key themes during this time.
January 11th – Today the Scorpio Moon perfects its conjunction to Jupiter and Mars as it Sextiles the Sun, Venus and Pluto, re-activating the celestial energies at play. Your emotions are brought into the celestial party mix that’s been going on and a deep sense of emotional satisfaction may be felt.
January 12th – Mercury (conscious mind) at 2º Capricorn Conjuncts Saturn (the boss). You may feel especially confident and clear headed about how to achieve your career objectives now. Make the most of all the harmonious earth and water elements at play now helping you manifest and fulfill your emotional needs!
VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
Void of Course Moon periods are great for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods.
