On April 2nd Venus Retrogrades back in the sign of Pisces. She is Trine to the Moon in Cancer over the next couple days, so you can be emotionally over sensitive, especially regards your personal boundaries, home and family matters. But, all is to the good as Venus has you reviewing what brings you pleasure and feels comfortable for you. Personal boundaries will be the focus until the 29th of April when Venus now Direct (on April 15th) moves back into the sign of Aries.
On April 5th Saturn at 27⁰ Sagittarius Stations Retrograde until August 25th. You’ll review any new structures or foundations you’ve laid since last fall to if see if anything needs tweaking for better results in the area where Saturn is located in your chart. It’s an opportunity to take a mature look at the structures that support you in the area of your life where Saturn is now transiting (look at the Meaning of the 12 Houses for insights about what this might be).
Also, on April 5th Mars (the planet of action) at 19⁰ Taurus Trines Pluto (the planet of transformation) in Capricorn. This power duo of desire and action is amplified exponentially. The easy flowing Trine brings transformative action that’s unstoppable.
On April 7th the Sun (life force essence) at 18⁰ Aries Opposes Jupiter (the planet of expansion) in Libra, the pair are forming a T-Square to Pluto (the planet of transformation). This is a very energized T-Square that carries a lot of tension and calls forth a shift in the way you apply your energy to find resolution in tense situations. Being open and expansive can help bring needed relief from the conflicting forces operating at this time. It’s more of an internal shift that will win the day than force of brute will that’s called for now.
On April 7th also Venus (the planet of love) still Retrograde in Pisces is about to exactly square Saturn (the taskmaster, represents authority) now Retrograde in Sagittarius. This can bring an old issue to the surface for resolution.
At this same time the Sun at 19⁰ Aries is about to exactly Square Pluto (as mentioned), so the tensions are high and somethings got to give. A shift in your inner attitude to one of compassion for everyone in the situation is called for. This too shall pass, allow things to work themselves out. Less action, more forgiveness and tolerance are called for.
VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
These are great periods for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon Phases are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.

- On April 2nd we have an 4 hour Void of Course Moon from 7:43am PT to 11:27am PT when the Gemini Moon moves into the sign of Cancer.
- On April 4th we have a 1 1/2 hour Void of Course Moon from 1:45pm PT to 3:13pm PT when the Cancer Moon enters the sign of Leo.
- On April 6th we have a 4 hour Void of Course Moon from 5:16pm PT to 9:20pm PT on the 25th when the Leo Moon enters the sign of Virgo.
