Dr. John J. Lerma, is a hospice and palliative medicine specialist, and widely known for his compassionate and loving care of more than thirty thousand terminally-ill patients. A pioneer in the early days of the hospice movement Dr. Lerma was a major influence in the development of palliative medicine. He has done extensive research in end of life care and is the inpatient medical director for the internationally renowned Hospice Medical Center of Houston, Texas.
A frequent guest on national, and international media Dr. Lerma has taught hospice and palliative medicine at several Medical Institutions, and is an international speaker on Pre-death Experiences. Currently Dr. Lerma is working on two full length feature documentaries with regards to Proving Life after Death and its Quantum nature.
Dr. Lerma has created a non-profit organization Hearts without Borders, which takes the hospice concept to underserved areas in South America.
