Astro Energy Report Highlights
On November 26th Mercury at 20 – 21º Sagittarius is trine to Uranus in Aries. There can be sudden revelations and opportunities. Look to find out which houses of your chart Mercury and Uranus are located to find out what areas of your life are being affected (see Guide to 12 Hourse below).
On November 29th we have the 7º Sagittarius New Moon exact at 4:18am PT. The Sagittarius New Moon conjunct the Sun is Square to Neptune in Pisces. Personal planets (such as the moon and sun) Square Neptune suggests a conflict between the personal and cosmic perspectives. An adjustment or personal sacrifice may be required.
The Sagittarius new moon is sextile to Mars in Aquarius and Jupiter in Libra. There are opportunities opening up for you now and strong desire to take action on your visions for the future.
On the day of the Sagittarius New Moon the planet of love, Venus, at 20º Capricorn and still within orb of conjunction to Pluto, Squares Uranus and Jupiter forming a T-Square. The energies can feel very explosive and intense. The forces operating are intense, expansive and deeply regenerative. There’s much that may be exposed now for healing and renewal of your creative fire.
On the day of the Sagittarius New Moon Mars at 15º Aquarius is within orb of trine to Jupiter in Libra, exact on December 1st.
The Sagittarius New Moon is also within orb of conjunction to Saturn and Mercury trine to Uranus.
The T-Square energy breaks up patterns and old habits and attitudes may fall apart while the trine helps you bring in new forms for the future.
It’s a complex New Moon. You may wish to wait until the New Moon goes into the next sign before setting any new intentions. There can be quite a bit of confusion, intensity and unsettled energy exactly at the New Moon. Check the Moon Void of Course Periods below to find out when the Moon enters Capricorn, a much more grounded placement for setting any intentions or gaining new insights and revelations for any course of action.
On December 2nd Mercury enters Capricorn exactly at 1:19pm PT. This would be the perfect time for your New Moon ritual until the Moon goes Void of Course (see Void of Course time periods below).
Fiery opal is the power gemstone for 7º Sagittarius New Moon on November 29th exact at 4:18am PT. A stone of inspiration and creativity the name opal is thought to be derived from the Sanskrit upala, meaning “precious stone,” and from Greek “Opallios,” referring “to seeing a change of color.” Opal helps you make necessary changes and show your true colors. As we are on the threshold of a new calendar year this stone can be very useful indeed for opening your heart to embrace the love awaiting you in the new year. 2017 is a one universal year and opal will help prepare you for new and higher possibilities awaiting you in 2017!

MOON VOID OF COURSE PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions. Aromatic scents like Galbanum and Vetiver help stabilize the emotions, as well Bergamot, Spikenard and Sandalwood.
These are great periods for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon periods are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.

- On November 27th we have a 11 hour Void of Course Moon from 1:48pm PT to 12:46pm PT on the next day November 28th when the Scorpio Moon moves into the sign of Sagittarius.
- On November 30th we have a 12 hour Void of Course Moon from 8:08pm PT to :52am PT when the Sagittarius Moon enters the sign of Capricorn.
