The week starts off with the Moon in playful Leo making auspicious aspects with numerous planets.
Venus enters the sign of Libra and, like I said, we have some really luscious aspects today.
It’s a great way to start your week! The energies are much more harmonious and easy going than last week. Yay!

The Libra New Moon (emotional needs) conjunct (of course) the Sun (life force energy) exactly opposite Uranus (the awakener) could spell a very juicy and electric vibe for you now. On October 14th – Venus enters Libra until November 7th. Relationships and meetings with others, making agreements or having disagreements is on tap. It’s all about refining your communication skills and connecting from your heart, not your head. There are a few Squares ahead, so some tense moments in communications and relationships, airing your thoughts in a way that’s diplomatic, fair and balanced is your opportunity this month.
On October 15th – Mercury at 26º Libra Opposite Uranus in Aries. Watch that you don’t get caught up into struggles over anything now. This is like a test to stand your ground in a balanced way, keep your cool. This is a quick transit and any tensions will pass soon. Use it as an opportunity to release resistance to things seeming not to go your way, or someone having a differing viewpoint than yours. Just let it go! Oppositions always help us see things about ourselves that we may not like and keep suppressed. Your buttons and emotional triggers can really get pushed.
On October 16th – Sun at 23º Libra Sextile Saturn in Sagittarius. This aspect is active along with yesterday’s tense Opposition to Uranus. Sun Sextile Saturn gives you diplomatic skill with relating to others in authority, or stepping up and standing in your power.
On October 17th – Mercury enters Scorpio until November 5th. Great for depth of focus and doing research, or writing a mystery or romance novel. Your conversations and thoughts will run deep at this time. Mercury’s usual light and flighty ways can feel bogged down, heavy and serious if not channeled properly. Great for digging in and getting some serious work done, long romantic dinners and lingering mornings in bed with someone you love or finding where to have sex with them as well. A fertile day, could be a great day for generating money.
On October 17th – First Day of Diwali, the Festival of Lights. This day we celebrate Love and Welcome Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of Love, into our Hearts and Homes. In the Roman pantheon Love is represented by Venus and in Greece, the Goddess Aphrodite.
On October 18th – Mercury at 1º Scorpio Conjuncts Jupiter. The Scorpio vibe this month really gets going. This aspect was active yesterday when the Moon Conjunct Mars and Venus and Mercury entered Scorpio, helping your prospects for making it a great money day.
On October 18th – Day Two of Diwali, Festival of Lights. In the Hindu tradition this day is celebrated as the day Lord Krishnal and the Goddess Kali destroyed all demons. You can write down your fears or worries and burn them in a fire, if you like, on this day. Clearing your heart and mind in preparation for the Libra New Moon, the love and relationship moon.
On October 19th – We have a New Moon exact at 12:12pm PT Conjunct The Sun (of course) at 26º Libra exactly Opposite Uranus (the Awakener). Birth of something fresh and new that awakens you to new vistas. The Moon goes Void of Course immediately at the New Moon, so you’ll want to wait until the Moon enters the next sign of Scorpio to plant your New Moon inspirations. Check the Void of Course Moon Phases below for the exact times. The Libra New Moon is Sextile to Saturn helping bring form and structure to what is being birthed now. The Moon is within orb of conjunction to Jupiter and Mercury and contact both soon after entering the sign of Scorpio. The perfect time to do your New Moon Ritual. Jupiter will expand and Mercury will help you connect in ways needed to birth your New Moon inspirations now. The window of time opening now over the next few days is harmonious and changes (if needed) are made easily.

The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new.
