The week starts off with the Moon Void of Course in Pisces, but soon after shifting into the sign of Aries, exact at :18am PT.
Today the Aries Moon Conjuncts Mars and then, later in the day, Trines Venus in Sagittarius. It’s a great day for courtship/partnership and enjoying adventures and romance. Mars will perfect his Trine to his Celestial partner, Venus, later this week.
You’re preparing for the Leo Full Moon Supermoon Lunar Eclipse occurring on January 20th, exact 9:16pm PT.

Astro Energy Report Highlights
All dates are at exact peak of intensity when energies begin to culminate and wane. You may actually feel the energies several hours or even days or weeks (in the case of eclipses) before the Celestial Peak, Crest of the Wave, so to speak. If you have personal planets or points within 1-2º orb of an aspect that’s occurring between planets then you will feel that celestial event more strongly.
January 13th – First quarter waxing Moon at 23° 48’ Aries Square the Sun in Capricorn. The Moon Squares the Sun twice monthly. Both are release point moments for you. Now you can let off steam and break free of restrictions or barriers to greater transcendence and freedom.
The Moon represents your Emotional Body. While the Sun represents your Will and Life Force energy. When the two are functioning harmoniously you feel in-tune with life and easily flow with life events. However, at the Quarter Moon points any conflicts naturally have an opportunity to surface for release. You’ll now have an opportunity to purge any disharmonious elements that can prevent you from realizing the potentials available at this time.
Same day – Mercury at 14° Capricorn Conjuncts Saturn and Sextiles Neptune in Pisces. This is such an interesting day for making connections and realizing your long term dreams.
Same day – Jupiter at 14° Sagittarius Squares Neptune in Pisces. The energies are harmonious, so the Square can help open you to greater possibilities. Allow yourself to expand and realize your dreams.
January 14th – Mercury perfects Sextile to Neptune. The energies peak for making those all important connections to realize your dreams. Your ideas and communications with others can be on a grand scale. You may be wildly unrealistic. Let yourself enjoy the moment. Much that may seem farfetched can manifest for you.
January 18th – Venus at 12° Sagittarius Trines Mars in Aries. The Trine between Cosmic couple Mars and Venus perfects today, exact 8:50am PT. The pair have been within orb of Trine throughout this week. You may have had a taste all week of what was brewing at the start of the week when the Aries Moon activated their imminent coupling. Love and romantic trysts are in the air. The fiery energy brightens your life with fresh passions.
Same day – Mercury at 21° Capricorn Conjuncts Pluto. Your mind deepens and you are able to connect with your deeper passions. The energies today are ripe for a passionate affair of the heart, whether of a business or personal nature.
Same day – Sun at 29° Capricorn Squares Uranus in Aries. With the celestial forces this Square omens potential for a great breakthrough. If your Will force has felt locked up, or you’ve been holding yourself in check now the dams may burst. Freedom has your name on it. Seize the day!!
January 20th – Lunar Eclipse Leo Full Moon Supermoon at 0° 52′, exact 9:16pm PT. This is a complex Lunar Eclipse. Filled with entanglements and oppositions (if any are left) that must be released. It is the final Leo Eclipse and a culmination point for you. Whatever has burdened you in the area of your life where Leo is located is now completely cut away. This is a graduation day of sorts. If you’ve embraced and done the work initiated during this 18+ month Eclipse cycle in Leo you’ll begin to feel a great sense of relief and freedom. Moments of any final painful purging will be brief. VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
Void of Course Moon periods are great for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon Phases are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.
