Astro Energy Report Highlights
All dates are at exact peak of intensity when energies begin to culminate and wane. You may actually feel the energies several hours or even days or weeks (in the case of eclipses) before the Celestial Peak, Crest of the Wave, so to speak. If you have personal planets or points within 1-2º orb of an aspect that’s occurring between planets then you will feel that celestial event more strongly.
September 16th – First Quarter Waxing Moon at 24°2’ Sagittarius, exact at 4:15pm PT. The Moon is Square to Mercury (within orb Conjunction to Sun exact 20th) Sextile to Jupiter. There can be a breakthrough or breakdown in your communication. Because the energies are mutable and more open to adaptation and making changes this feels like an opportunity for a breakthrough in the areas of your life where the Moon, Jupiter and Mercury are located.
September 18th – Mars at 1° Aquarius Squares Uranus in Taurus for the third and final time. You reach a final resolution when a breakthrough in your circumstances is possible. The Moon is in auspicious alignment with Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto today supporting you emotionally. Forecasting your emotional needs being nicely met during any period of adjustment.
September 20th – Mercury at 28° Virgo Conjuncts the Sun. I love when Mercury catches back up to the Sun after its Retrograde. There’s a feeling of well-being and connection. Your mind is at peace and you feel perfectly united within yourself. You feel at home!
September 21st – Mercury enters the sign of Libra until October 9th when he enters the sign of Scorpio. Mercury enjoys being in fellow air sign Libra (ruled by Venus). Mercury and Venus really get on, the attraction sparks can fly when these two get together. There can also be more money-making opportunities available. Signing contracts and making agreements are highlighted. Buying a car, computer, or planning for a vacation are all in the sphere of possibilities. You may feel more outgoing and sociable. It’s easier to hook-up and make new acquaintances. Go on a blind date? Your mind tends to be on a more balanced, even keel when Mercury transits through Libra.
VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
Void of Course Moon periods are great for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon Phases are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.

- On September 19th we have a 6+ hour Void of Course Moon from 10:10am PT to 4:52pm PT when the Capricorn Moon enters the sign of Aquarius.
