You may actually feel the energies several hours or even days or weeks (in the case of eclipses) before the Celestial Peak, Crest of the Wave, so to speak. If you have personal planets or points within 1-2º orb of an aspect that’s occurring between planets then you will feel that celestial event more strongly.
December 15th – First Quarter Waxing Moon at 23° 27’ Pisces, exact 3:49am PT. You can be experiencing an emotional breakthrough of sorts today. Any heaviness you’ve been carrying gets released. Life lightens up!
December 16th – Venus at 10° Scorpio Sextiles Saturn in Capricorn. There can be an opportunity for business negotiations. Power and serious transactions may be on the table. There can be a feeling of intensity or pressure.
Same day Mars at 20° Pisces Sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. This is a day of empowerment if you can withstand the pressure. You’ll be stronger and wiser when you undergo such a transformational pivot point.
December 20th – Sun 29° Sagittarius Trines Uranus in Aries. When the Sun and Uranus make auspicious contacts like today there’s brilliance and genius available. Your energy level can be tremendously high, off the charts even. Ingenuous ideas may come to you now. Be ready to write them down and implement.
December 21st – Solstice Day (Winter in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer in the South). The Sun enters Capricorn at 2:23pm PT marking the Solstice. When the Sun transits Capricorn career objectives and accomplishments may become of upper most importance to you. Much can be accomplished with the Sun in Capricorn. Its work horse energy. The Sun will remain in Capricorn until January 20th, the day of the Lunar Eclipse (Supermoon) Full Moon at 0° 52’ Leo.
Same day Venus at 14° Scorpio Trines Neptune in Pisces, exact at 9:12am PT. The Water Trine at the Solstice can bring deep, unexpressed emotions to the surface. It can also help you to realize or release hidden dreams. Emotions and dreams you’ve held in your heart and mind may find completion, or get purged.
Same day Mercury at 10° Sagittarius Conjuncts Jupiter. Jupiter expands whatever it touches. Whatever is occurring now gets augmented. Mercury is about making connections and communications. While Jupiter is the teacher, guru, traveller and adventurer. Put these two together and much magic and good fortune can happen.
Tomorrow, December 22nd. we have the 0° 49’ Cancer Full Moon, exact at 9:49am PT. Full Moons are a time of celebration and completion. In Cancer the focus is on home, family, roots and security matters. The Cancer Full Moon forms a Grand Water Trine today and tomorrow (peaks) with Venus in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. - March 5th Mercury Stations Retrograde at 29° 36’ Pisces (water sign).
- March 28th, Mercury Stations Direct at 16° 6’ Pisces (water sign).
- July 7th Mercury Stations Retrograde at 4° 25’ Leo (fire sign).
- July 31st, Mercury Stations Direct at 23° 57’ Cancer (water sign).
- October 31st Mercury Stations Retrograde at 27° 37’ Scorpio (water sign).
- November 20th Mercury Stations Direct at 11º 38’ Scorpio (water sign).
In 2019 Mercury Retrograde occurs primarily in water signs.

VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
Void of Course Moon periods are great for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon Phases are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.
For your New and Full Moon Rituals make sure the Moon is not Void of Course and in aspect to another celestial body when doing your ritual for best results.
